New Wave alebo Nová vlna bolo hnutie v rockovom hudobnom žánri v USA, Austrálii, Spojenom kráľovstve, Kanade a Európe koncom 70. a začiatkom 80. rokov. Spočiatku bol používaný pre punk rockovú hudbu, neskôr pre charakteristiku jeho podžánrov, ktoré preberali iné hudobné vplyvy.
